Buyers Responsibilities:
To
avoid the cancellation of this contract you must have your puppy examined
by a licensed veterinarian and signed vet form within 72 hours upon
receiving the puppy.
Seller
must be informed of the results of this examination within 48 hours of the
examination via faxed signed Vet form. Failure to do so will render this
contract null and void.

During
the initial exam, should your veterinarian find the puppy to be a poor
health risk or detect any physical health problem that would require
further veterinary care (excluding, required vaccinations, dewormings) you MUST contact
Seller within 24 hours. A diagnosis of coccidiosis, giarrdia,
parasites, kennel cough, or any other type of bacterial infection does not
render the puppy unhealthy.
Provide
puppy with routine preventative care, such as, but not limited to:
Physical
examinations by a licensed veterinarian.
Follow
veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and worming program.
Health
Guarantee:
We
guarantee this puppy is purebred and registerable
with the AKC. We guarantee that all vaccinations and wormings have been
given as stated on the vaccination schedule. The buyer should have this puppy examined
by a licensed Veterinarian of their choice within 48 hours of taking
possession of this puppy. If this puppy is found to have a life threatening
hereditary congenital defect or any major health at this exam, a
replacement puppy of equal value will be given, no money will be refunded, provided that
the seller is notified within 24 hours after the exam. This puppy must be
returned to the Breeder along with the AKC registration papers within 24
hours, at no expense to the breeder, with a signed document from the
licensed Veterinarian stating the defect or problem. We, the breeder, are not responsible for
any veterinarian bills acquired by you, the buyer. This guarantee does not include injuries,
fleas, mites, cocei, giardia
or any other intestinal worms/parasites, as they are common in dogs and
puppies. Parvovirus, distemper virus, heartworms or any nutrition related
disease. Undesended testicles or infertility is
not covered by the guarantee Deafness and blindness are
not covered by the guarantee.
Breeder will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona Virus
after 48 hours of the sale, as these are highly contagious diseases and
they can be contracted immediately after leaving the Breeder. We will not be responsible for illness or
health problems, which are diagnosed after this time period, except where
stated in this contract.
This
puppy is warranted for 1 year from the date of birth against fatal and life
altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the
animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia which hampers a dogs movement and natural gait, kidney, heart, pancreas,
spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature.
If the dog dies within the one year time frame the Buyer will pay to have a
necropsy done to ascertain cause of death. The seller must be notified with
in 24 hours and be given the option of having a necropsy done by sellers
vet. If reason is congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy.
A
puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as
follows:
Dog
must show the defect by 1 year of age. Seller must be notified of the
problem within 2 business days of the licensed veterinarian's determination
and have two reports from two unassociated veterinarians stating the same
problem and Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value.
A
puppy with a defect must be returned to the Seller to qualify for a
replacement puppy.
No
refund, in part or in full, will be given.
Seller
will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware
that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that
he/she will be responsible for all payments.
All
items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. We do not give
refunds.
A
returned puppy must be returned to the Seller in good condition, other than
the specified problem, at the Buyer's expense. The Buyer/owner will then
qualify for a replacement puppy.
Buyer
is responsible for ALL transportation costs to and from the Seller on a
replacement puppy.
No replacement
puppy will be given if the puppy has been euthanized without Seller's
permission.
There
are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for
example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, and other
autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this warranty.
Any
physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered
under this warranty.
There
is no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed
the puppy regardless of show or breeding potentials. Undesended
testicals or infertility is not covered by the
guarantee.
This
contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.
You,
the buyer, agree to insure your puppys good
health and to keep our guarantee in effect by taking good care of the puppy
and providing good food, housing and good medical care. Please remember
that puppies are babies and they need lots of tender loving care!
This
contract is valid for the original purchaser that purchased the dog from
the Kelly’s Boxers (Breeder). If the
dog is transferred to another owner this contract is null and void.
The
Breeder makes no guarantees, expressed or implied, under this contract
except as stated above.
By
signature below, Purchaser acknowledges receipt of a copy of this
agreement, information package, including feeding information and
worming/vaccine schedule.
We
hope that we have helped you to choose the right puppy for you and your
family. If for any reason this
puppy does not work out for you, or if your life changes such that you are
unable to provide this puppy with a happy home, please call us we are
always willing to take the puppy/dog back to secure a new home for him/her
Kelly’s Boxers are bred with love and devotion and no matter what their age,
their welfare is our main concern.
